Middle and High School Students

YARN is recruiting middle or high school students at your schools who may be interested in writing, journalism, history, art or research. This project will offer them a great opportunity to interact with professionals in these fields, and to become published authors and artists, in their own right! We have 26 student slots. Please submit your students’ name, grade, age, contact email and phone number, no later than September 30, 2026.

  HMP Book Launch/Interviews, MHS Cafeteria

• Saturday, 11-14-26, 10 am – 12 pm
  HMP Writing Workshop, MHS Cafeteria

• Saturday, 12-12-26, 10 am – 12 pm
  HMP Art Workshop, MHS Cafeteria

• Saturday, 2-6-27, 10 am – 1 pm
  Final HMP Recap Workshop, MHS Cafeteria

• Saturday, 5-1-27, Time TBD
  HMP Book Signing and Reception with Students and History Makers.
